What are Paulding Prep's hours?

Our center is open 5 days a week, M-Fri, from 6:00am to 6:30pm. Depending on the time of year, US holidays, and county school system closings, our hours may adjust. For more information on when we are and are not open, please give us a call.

How much would I pay for childcare at Paulding Prep?

Although we do have some standard rates, the price that your family would pay depends largely on the number of children you would be enrolling and on your specific needs as a parent. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and our ability to work with any family's situation; we also take programs like CAPS! So, to learn more, or get specific rates for your family, please give us a call at 770-445-7757.

What Paulding County schools does PPA's before & after school program drop off/pick up students from?

Because we welcome students from all over the Paulding/ Dallas area we do not have a set lit of schools that we pick up from. If a parent calls us requesting that we get their child from a Paulding County school at dismissal time, we will do so. That being said we do have a few regular pick up locations. Call or visit us today to see if your child's school is one of them, or within our pick up parameters.

How can I get in contact with the director, Ms. Lynda?

Nearly everyday that we are open, Mrs. Lynda is present and excited to interact with parents and children, alike.  If you would like to speak with her all you have to do is come in or call!

What if my child needs special medication? Can I drop it off with them?

Absolutely; our commitment to you child's well-being includes their health so any prescription medication they may require on a normal day can be dropped off with them as long as a signed waiver authorizing us to dispense medication is in your child's record. The waivers are provided by us, so come in anytime to fill one out.

What, if anything, do I need to bring when I drop of my child, everyday?

On a day to day basis, our center is fully equipped with most of the things your child would need to enjoy a day in our care however there are still a few items that we request all parents drop off with their children including a change of clothing appropriate for the season's weather, a blanket for naps, and a coat during the winter time.

What if I am unavailable one day; can a family member or a friend come in to pick up my child?

Yes, of course; if life prevents you from being able to come in and get your child yourself, a friend or family member can definitely come in your place as long as their name is on record with the center. You, the parent, must provide prior authorization for anyone other than yourself to pick up and transport your child from our vicinity; and the person coming must bring along an official government issued photo ID.
